Product Manager / Business Analyst

Intro

For one of our startups we are looking for an experienced Product Manager that has a good sense of product management and business analysis. Do you get a kick to see something cool evolve out of chaos? Then this is the job for you!

Tolq works with international brands like Bol.com, MediaMarkt, Porsche and many others to power their international sales and marketing with our state-of-the-art localisation platform.

We are accepting applications for the next two months and we fill the open position as soon as we’ve found the right candidate.

About the PositionProduct Manager/Owner

As a Product Manager you will be assigned to work on one of our products and be responsible for the performance of the entire product/service. This means you’ll have to work across all the disciplines required to run a product and you work directly with the CEO. You’ll work in a fast-paced, and ever-changing environment where you can really add value.
This is what that looks like: Strategy & Organisation

You work with the CEO on figuring out the optimal value proposition and product positioning.

Product
You work with designers and developers to create the best possible product that delivers the value proposition to the market. You hand-on test the product as much as often to be sure what we deliver is awesome.Reach
This is where we promote the product/service. You work with the copywriter and manage the campaigns. You live for the metrics and make data based decisions.

Convert
Closing the deal. You also close deals yourself because you want to be in touch with the market we’re working on.

Engage
This is where we deliver the product/service to the customer. You make sure they get to the ‘Aha’-moment as soon as possible. You watch the retention and engagement metrics all the time.
We use the product/market-fit model to tweak the product and learn how to create optimal product/market fit.

About Tolq

Tolq wants to eliminate language borders and to do that we’ve built a lot of technology that makes it easier for companies to translate their content. Our clients range from MediaMarkt to Belvilla and many others.

We are remote-first and local in The Hague.

About You
We are looking for someone who is ready for this challenge with a getting things done work spirit.

Skills & Requirements

• You master the English language
• You have excellent communication skills
• You love to organise
• You can handle a fast-paced, ever-changing, and deadline-driven environment
• You are driven, enthusiastic and have a sense of humor
• Your command of modern web tools like Google Docs and comparable systems is great
  
• Understanding of Lean Startup methodology
• Deep understanding of Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Design and Testing Business Ideas
• Understanding of product design, online marketing, metrics and all the little tools required to run a successful product

Experience

• We love self-taught internet junkies who simply love making good products. We don’t care about the rest.
