Data Scientist

We are hiring our first data scientist to join the Stairwell team. We seek someone who is hungry for impact and loves drawing unique insights from massive data sets. The ideal person for the role is a self starter who brings an innovative approach to problem solving and is excited to have a key role at a fast moving company.

• Cleanse, analyze, and derive insights from massive data sets
• Perform preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Review large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Create predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Modify and combine different models through ensemble modeling
• Organize and present information using data visualization techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to understand the needs of Stairwell and devise possible solutions

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and other languages
• Solid foundation in probability, statistics, and algebra
• Curiosity in understanding the security space and how cutting edge technologies can shape it
