Responsibilities:

• Own the product backlog — Understand the customers’ needs, competitive landscape, and Wand’s vision. Use these insights to optimise the product backlog throughout the agile scrum ceremonies. Implement the product strategy, create detailed requirements, define and prioritize features, coordinate backlogs, and own the technical roadmap.
• Be customer-centric — Be fanatic about the success of our customers. Work closely with customers and customer success to intimately understand the customer viewpoint.
• Be innovative — Always explore new ideas, directions, and ways to do things dramatically better.
• Be detailed — Decompose backlog items into granular epics, stories, and tasks ready for the development team to start work on.
• Be data-driven — Use analytics, metrics, and key performance indicators to measure product progress.
• Collaborate — Working with architects, R&D, QA and DevOps to understand HL design, cross interfaces impact & architectural or non-functional features and prepare for the next development iteration.
• Be Magical — Always think of new ways to improve the Wand platform and bring new magic to our customers.
• Speak Dev — Easily translate the backlog to the development team in easy-breezy magical grooming sessions.

Requirements:

• Ability to work flexibly and independently in a fluid, start-up-like environment.
• Proven track record of 5+ years in creating successful products in at least one of AI, Big Data, Data, ML, and analytics platforms.
• Proven agile and SaaS experience.
• B.Sc. in computer science/engineering, or 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proven experience in building web-based applications.
• You have a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Fluent English — writing and speaking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion and creativity to solve business problems with data and AI techniques.
• A sharp mind and great analytical and learning skills, accompanied by curiosity and independence.
