Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement functional requirements.
• Build efficient, reusable code and services.
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design, implement and verify advanced pipelines.
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals.
• Expertise in Java 8+
• Working knowledge of main AWS services (EMR, S3, lambda).
• Working knowledge of Docker containers.
• Strong English and communication skills (both verbal and writing).
• Experience working in an agile engineering environment.
• Relevant education and degree.
• Passion for developing scalable, distributed software.
• Self-motivated personality with positive attitude.
• Experience and willingness to work as part of a team on a common code base.

Advantages:

• Experience with Python
• Understanding of Big Data architectures.
• Experience with big data distributed processing: Spark, Yarn, HDFS, Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of microservices architectures.
• AI (Machine Learning) algorithms understanding.
• Working knowledge of the Spring framework
