Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the solutions which will improve Nuvei's internal business process.
• Develop the back-end services.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure product usability and excellent user experience.
• Learn about customer pain points, understand the performance issues and build solutions to address them.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Mentor software development engineers and drive engineering excellence.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer (Node JS).
• Strong knowledge of React JS
• Experience of building high scale web services with excellent performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Understanding and experience in Cloud services (PUB-SUB, Kafka, Redis etc).
• Depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis with experience in at least one modern programming language.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.

Advantages:

• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
  
• Experience working with .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of Test Driven Development.
• Experience mentoring software development engineers and driving engineering excellence.
