Field Marketing & Events Manager

Our marketing team is looking for a Field Marketing and Events Manager. This role reports to the DIrector, Field and Partner Marketing, and is responsible for Marketing activities to support our partner relationships with Salesforce, Workday, key ISV’s (independent software vendors) and SI’s (strategy initiatives).

Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and deliver the corporate event and field marketing strategy for Rootstock Manufacturing ERP.
• Manage Rootstock’s North American tradeshows (6-10 per year) including negotiating sponsorships, managing logistics, implementing booth messaging and design, developing pre- and post-strategies, and more. Travel to these events (US based) is expected.
• Develop and execute a field plan to build awareness and loyalty with regional activities(3-5/quarter) – lunch and learns, cocktail happy hours, dinners, and more
• Oversee planning of Rootstock’s annual customer conference, Rooted·In which includes managing an external agency, sessions schedules, attendee experience, and more
• Develop and operationalize event performance metrics utilizing Salesforce and Hubspot
• Work closely with our international marketing team to maintain consistency across all show properties
• Ensure event strategies & themes align with overall company & marketing objectives, driving our pipeline
• Support the execution of a virtual webinar strategy and execute online webinar events
• Purchase and manage the inventory of all show-related materials, including booth signage, a/v equipment, and giveaways.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of marketing experience executing events
• Ability to travel domestically 6-10 times per year for each event is required.
• High attention to detail and project organization
• Hands-on experience working tradeshows
• Ability to collaborate well with content, creative, and campaign teams to execute on plans
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative, and motivation with a hands-on, “get it done” attitude
