Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAS Viya Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of analytical solutions using SAS Viya platform. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data analytics, programming, and a deep understanding of SAS Viya tools and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop, implement, and maintain SAS Viya solutions for data integration, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
Design and optimize SAS Viya workflows, pipelines, and models to ensure efficient data processing and accurate results.
Create and manage custom reports and dashboards using SAS Visual Analytics and other relevant tools within the SAS Viya suite.
Write, test, and debug SAS code to transform, clean, and manipulate data from various sources.
Integrate SAS Viya with other systems, databases, and third-party tools to enable seamless data exchange and analysis.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the SAS Viya ecosystem and recommend enhancements to existing solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAS Viya applications, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support for data-driven initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a SAS Viya Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful SAS Viya projects.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
In-depth knowledge of SAS Viya tools, including SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Statistics, SAS Data Preparation, and others.
Familiarity with data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning concepts.
Strong understanding of database systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in SAS Viya applications.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, accurate results.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Any relevant SAS certifications would be a plus.
