About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Data is at the core of Plantix's business. We base decisions and actions on insights generated by data. You will join the Analytics team and support our Data Analysts and Data Scientists in their work. As a Data Engineer you will work with the Analytics team and support them in the data pipelining. You will challenge and improve our current data pipelines and data architecture.
Responsibilities
Maintaining, optimizing and expanding our Data Pipelines
Orchestrating and optimizing our ETL and ML jobs
Enhancing our Data Infrastructure
Developing solutions for automated data quality assurement
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet those needs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of data engineering

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3 - 5 years of experience in a related job position
Cloud infrastructure knowledge (especially AWS and GCP)
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL
Experience with Airflow and Glue is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
