About the role:

For our Technical Writer Intern position we need a skilled and knowledgeable person who is able to effectively document the features of the GameMaker product in a clear and concise way. You should be self motivated and comfortable as part of a rapid development team with a keen eye for technical details.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and proofreading technical content
• Documentation writing for the latest GameMaker releases
• GameMaker Manual upkeep
• Creating written content for technical blogs
• Ensuring effective communication between product team and technical writers
• Assisting in maintaining and growing technical writing standards, policies, and practices

Requirements:

• A relevant graduate degree OR relevant previous work experience
• Experience using software, such as RoboHelp, and Atlassian Confluence, to produce technical documentation
• A strong work ethic and ability to balance multiple projects
• A proactive nature and willingness to self-motivate
• Native level oral and written communication skills in English
• Prior knowledge of GameMaker preferred but not required
