Job Details

Openly is looking for a Content Strategist/Writer with exceptional content strategy, content management, and writing skills who will support the marketing team and cross-functional teams by strategizing and creating multi-channel campaign and blog content. Experience with B2B content strategy and creation is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage Openly’s content and messaging strategy based on business goals
• Write content for multi-channel marketing campaigns, including emails, landing pages, digital ads, social media, and sales collateral
• Spearhead the development and ongoing management of a public blog focused on providing value-added content to key audiences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area of study
• 5-8 years of experience in content management and writing roles, including B2B experience
• Experience leading content strategy efforts and the development of thought leadership content
• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong experience writing for digital channels
• Experience developing and managing a content calendar aligned with business goals
• Experience writing copy for SEO campaigns
• Strong attention to detail
• Writing experience related to financial services is a plus
• Ability to work well in a growth stage company environment
• Excels in a fast-paced, demanding environment; able to manage multiple tasks and juggle several time-sensitive demands while adapting to changing priorities

Candidates should be self-starters who possess strong content strategy and writing skills. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of effective and engaging content planning and content creation. We ask that work samples be provided in addition to a resume. Work samples should include at least one example from each of the following categories: landing page copy, email campaign copy, digital ad copy, and blog copy.
