Oracle Commerce (ATG) Production Support Lead - Brazil [Contractor]

About the Position:

We are looking for a great Oracle Commerce Production support and Devops lead, who has a deep understanding of the ATG framework and can customize it for complex scenarios. The candidate must have experience of supporting the Oracle Commerce environment in production and lower environments. Able to setup/monitor logs, identify errors, provide workarounds and critical bug fixes.

Location: Brazil/ Remote - PST time zone

What You’ll Do:

• Extending and customizing Oracle commerce cloud platform as per clients requirements.
• Supporting ATG/Endeca production environment during PST hours.
• Must have good experience with Endeca, Experience manager, BCC deployment issues.
• Should act as ATG contact person when debugging issues between ATG and other external systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong ATG,Endeca Java and J2EE development experience.
• Must have handled ATG production support environments and familiar with the challenges faced supporting complex production environments.
• Fluent in Linux and shell scripts.
• Good understanding of builds using ant. Layering concepts of ATG.
• Installation, setup and configuration of ATG platform and applications.
• Installation, setup and configuration of Endeca.
• Solid understanding of ATG pipelines, form handlers, droplets, repository apis, cart api, checkout apis, pricing and promotions.
• Must be able to solve the critical issues related to ATG framework and its integration with other frameworks
• Understanding of how different cache modes work in atg and which one should be used in which scenarios.
• Understanding of lock server’s concepts and when to use them.
• Good understanding of BCC and deployment process. Should be aware of how versioning is done in bcc.
• Should be able to debug bcc deployment issues in production environments.
• Should be able to support production environments and troubleshoot issues using thread dumps and heap dumps.
• Web Services development experience (e.g. SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI)
• Hands on skills using databases (Oracle/MySQL)
• Experience with popular Java IDEs (Eclipse/WSAD)
• Experience on application servers like web logic.
• Excellent technical problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Masters Degree in Computer Science.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
