About the RoleAs an experienced Commercial Retail Interior Design Intern reporting to our Vice President of Design + Development, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is an internship position and is fully remote.
- Involvement in Schematic & Design Planning
- Assist with determining materials, IE: flooring, fabrics, woods for clinic design and finishes
- Boots on the ground assistance with setup of New Clinic Openings nationwide!
- Assist with purchasing and procurement
- Develop furniture and décor lists and budget development
- Help determine artwork and décor for new clinics
- Coordinate logistics of décor/furniture delivery to project site and hire necessary resources for unloading and unboxing
- Hire resources for décor setup and install as needed.
- Assist with new furniture design as needed
- Review furniture shop drawings as needed
- Facilitate setup and determine furniture and décor for 13 recently added locations as part of a major company acquisition.
- Pursuing interior design degree(Junior or higher) Proficient in AutoCad, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
- A strong interest in interior design
- Problem solver and quick learner, ambitious, out-of-the-box thinker
- A self starter and detail-oriented
- Have a visual point of view and good taste
