(Senior) Backend Engineer (m/f/x)(Remote)

Started as a meta search engine, today we are a recruiting intelligence platform. Through performance-based multichannel recruiting, we find exactly the right candidates for millions of job advertisements. We do everything we can to create the perfect match and to make the recruiting process easier, faster and more transparent.

With our new job recommendation system, we want to become the “digital career advisor for everyone” and, as a virtual JobCoach, support users in their career planning over the long term.

To further shape and develop our product we are looking for a highly motivated Backend Engineer (m/f/x) to join our team.

• Experience with Java in real life product development

• Expertise in modern engineering practices

• Motivation to work in cross-functional agile teams and collaborate with business stakeholders as well as product owners

• Passion for product development

• Enthusiasm to solve complex technical problems and deep dive into new technologies

• No fear to assume responsibility and proactively address topics

• Optionally, experience with:

  • Messaging Systems (e.g., Kafka)

  • Search Technology (ElasticSearch)

  • Databases (PostgreSQL, Bigtable)

  • Container Technologies (Kubernetes and Docker)

  • Microservices architectures

  • Cloud architectures

• Salary 

  • Midlevel (~3-6 years of relevant professional experience): 55-70k

  • Senior (7+ years): 70-85k
