Fullstack Engineer with SEO Focus (m/f/d) - (Hamburg/Berlin/Remote possible)

We are now looking for an experienced (Senior) Fullstack Engineer with SEO Focus (m/f/d) for one our offices in Hamburg or Berlin (Remote possible).Your exciting responsibilities include:

• Growing our user base by implementing features to support our SEO strategy
• Analysing and improving on website traffic and rankings in close collaboration with our SEO manager
• Engineering Principles: Clean Code, DevOps, Microservices, Mobile/Cloud first, CI/CD
• Exploring new acquisition channels
• Improving our Frontend architecture with focus on site speed, security, scalability and other non-functional requirements
• Thinking creatively to find solutions
• Challenging the status quo

Ideally you bring:

• 3+ years (5+ as a Senior) of experience with modern web development frameworks such as React, Angular, vue.js or similar using JavaScript, Typescript or Flow and writing backend code with Java and Node.js
• A willingness to engage with the cat and mouse challenges SEO entails
• React/Redux, single-page applications, modern JavaScript and Typescript, server-side rendering with Node.js etc.
• Experience with Google Lighthouse, Page Speed Insights (& others related to Core Web Vitals), Log files, Google Analytics, Search Console and automation
• Understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices
• Design implementation using CSS, SASS or similar
• Microservices architecture style
• Cloud architectures with GCP, AWS or Azure

• Highly scalable backend micro service architecture with Java 17
• An impactful position with end-to-end responsibility - starting with technical concepts until the feature is being rolled out
• Cross-functional teams in close collaboration with SEO Manager
