PostgreSQL Database Engineer

Location: Must be located in Brazil 100% Remote

Type: Full time, Contract

Integritas is looking for experienced PostgreSQL Database Engineers (English Speaking) who are able to work with Product Owners to gather and understand user requirements and identify new features and review existing database design and database code and improve performance. The Developer is responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing SQL scripts to help users and our products retrieve data effectively.

This is an English speaking position and you must be able to clearly communicate in English with the team and clients

• Ability to develop stored procedures, materialized views, and functions
• Demonstratable PostgreSQL experience with both single tenant and multi-tenant databases
• Ability to understand existing SQL code and trace logic
• Define, document and automate DataWarehouse operations processes
• Ability to critically think through development logic (think like a developer)
• Ensure the SQL code that our application relies on runs correctly, with high performance, and securely on a daily basis
• Design stable, reliable and effective database queries
• Optimize and maintain production systems
• Modify database structure according to requests and perform tests
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
