Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We're looking for a passionate full-stack engineer to join our Web team. This role is an essential part of the Incubit AI product ecosystem with huge autonomy over what we build and how we build it. You will be responsible for designing, building, and owning our products - ML development platform - for both external clients and AI engineers from AWS infrastructure/ platform services to backend code to browser and everything between.

Responsibilities

• Work with other engineers, product owners, and leadership to turn our vision into a concrete roadmap
• Own major features from architectural design to release
• Build, test and ship clean, modular, and efficient user-facing code across all layers of the stack
• Design highly performant and tested APIs and internal services
• Actively lead the design and/or refactoring of our application architecture
• Promote best practices and standards to build modular and scalable web apps and APIs between backend services
• Identify software quality issues and refactor code when appropriate
• Work closely with Deep Learning engineers to design and implement the optimal DevOps environment for their maximized efficiency

Qualifications

Required/Minimum qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails and Rspec.
• 1+ years of experience with a major Web UI framework (e.g. Vue.js or ReactJS) and experience building UI at scale
• Experience in deploying applications into production environments
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Business proficiency in English (verbal & written)
• Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to new languages and technologies

Preferred/Additional qualifications

• Familiar with Python/Go/JavaScript
• AWS or similar Cloud provider integrations
• Experience in Ansible/Chef/Puppet
• Experience in Terraform/Kubernetes/Docker
