Job Summary
The Role: Content and Communications Marketing Associate
Location: Remote
About This Role
As the Content and Communications Marketing Associate, your primary responsibility will be to support the company’s content and communication strategy, specifically initiatives that support growth, customer engagement and brand awareness. This role will be responsible for content development, social media management and press and media projects. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, with experience crafting compelling copy and content that informs and inspires.
What You’ll Do
- Provide copy and content for program brochures, flyers, blogs, provider and executive bios, email, social media, speaking proposals, presentations, case studies, videos, award submissions, event proposals, and landing pages
- Develop syndication and promotional strategies to amplify content and engage Hazel’s target audiences
- Work collaboratively with the Growth, Operations, Product, and Provider teams to bring the Hazel mission and story to life through compelling, thoughtful and helpful content
- Manage owned social media channels, develop compelling social media content and grow the brand’s social media presence by driving towards KPIs for each
- Track media coverage and draft press releases
- Pitch customer stories to highlight through Hazel content and external media
- Stay up to date with marketing content best practices and trends, follow competition
- Present fresh story ideas and long-term communication and content strategies
- Provide project management support to the content marketing team, including owning the content calendar, helping ensure projects are completed on time and in an efficient manner
About You:

- Experience in K-12 public school education communications and marketing
- Passionate for our mission to transform children’s access to health care
- 1-2 years experience working within the public school communications department
- Excited to grow as a content marketer in health care and education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
- Excellent writing skills; ability to capture the brand’s voice and adapt tone for various audiences
- Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail
- Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment
