Senior Executive - Safety And Compliance

01.  JOB ACCOUNTABILITY 

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide safety training and education programs to warehouse staff.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans.
• Experience in quality system & compliance audits.

02. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Certification in safety management (NEBOSH) is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of OHS guidelines and regulations.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
