OHS Lead (Senior Execuitve)

Job Accountabilities 

• Lead to create a positive safety culture, promoting proactive health, safety, and environmental management.
• Develop, implement, and enhance occupational health, safety, and environmental policies in line with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate health, safety, and environmental considerations into all project stages.
• Provide guidance and training on best practices to ensure compliance.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to improve safety performance.
• Stay updated on legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and deliver reports on health, safety, and environmental performance to drive improvement.

Candidate Profile        

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety management, with a preference for experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
