Manager / Ast. Manager - Value Added & Industrial sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, encompassing both short-term and long-term plans, to drive growth in Value Added & Industrial product sales. This includes achieving profitability targets and meeting collection goals through adept management of the customer portfolio.
• Implement the established business plan to effectively expand our customer base, ensuring a strategic approach to market penetration and growth.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including Consultants, Industry Specialists, and Government Authorities, to solidify the company's strong presence in the designated area. This involves proactive engagement and collaboration to position the company as a preferred partner.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' needs, providing innovative solutions through strategic product recommendations, and promptly addressing customer queries to enhance overall satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Professional qualifications in Sales & Marketing, with preference given to candidates holding partial qualifications from SLIM (Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing) or CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience, with a focus on corporate sales in the field of Industrial & Engineering Products, providing candidates with exposure to relevant markets will be advantageous.

• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective engagement with clients and team collaboration.

• An added advantage would be a background in engineering, demonstrating a deeper understanding of the technical aspects related to the products or services being marketed.
