Management Executive – Maintenance
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our Company as Management Executive – Maintenance. The selected candidate will be responsible for effective and efficient management of the Maintenance Division of a Production facility at Brahamanagama, Kottawa.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintenance Division
- Ensure effective and efficient management of the Maintenance Division.
- Prepare / coordinate / record preventive maintenance programs & schedules.
- Ensure preventive maintenance activities are timely carried out.
- Coordinate outsourced maintenance/service-related activities & new installations (machines, equipment & premises) with agents, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure cost effective and systematic purchasing of maintenance related spare parts, equipment etc.
- Maintain timely and accurate maintenance records such as Machine history / Machine breakdown / consumption of natural resources / cost etc.
- Coordinate ISO 9001 / 14001/ OHS activities & maintain records related to the division.
- Be responsible for health & safety activities of the facility which includes fire prevention activities ensuring related regulatory guidelines, manage solid waste disposal process, maintain relevant records & update sustainability data related to environmental factors.
Additional Responsibility: Ensure effective and efficient management of the packing materials & bulk warehouses.
Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a similar capacity.
- HND/NDT in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in a similar capacity.
- Demonstration of strong leadership, motivational and organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge in Industrial Relations.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility.
- Ability to function well in a team environment.
- Drive a performance driven culture.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…).
