JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Focus on CMA CGM group Transhipment cargo via Colombo.
- Manage Transhipment cargo & connections (including renomination and special cargo & ITT).
- Check accuracy of next connections in principal system.
- Manage cargo cut instructions by coordinating with head office, regional offices and monitor principal system updates to inform the operations team.
- Finalize discharge and load lists of Transhipment cargo on feeder and mainline vessels.
- Report & monitor Transhipment cargo readiness.
- Coordinate with three terminals for tight connections.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- 6 passes with 'C' for Maths and English at the GCE O/Levels or London O/Levels AND
- A minimum of 2 passes at the GCE A/Levels OR
- Successfully completion of UGC approved A/L equivalent foundation course with minimum of 1-year operations experience in a shipping line.
- Excellent command of the English and Sinhala languages.
- Extensive knowledge on MS Office package.
