JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – CREW MANAGEMENT
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain and update records of all seafarers' certifications, licenses, and training documents.
- Ensure that all documents are valid and comply with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and national regulations.
- Ensure all seafarers have valid certificates according ship type and are meeting job criteria
- Ensure the authenticity of certificates is properly checked before they are proposed.
- All personnel proposed are medically fit at the time of recruitment
- Responsible for the validity and accuracy of seafarer’s Travel documents, certification complying STCW, Statutory and client certification Matrix. Physical checks and verifications.
- Maintain a database of all seafarer documentation and ensure its accuracy and security.
- Use software systems for tracking and managing certifications and expirations.
- Monitor the training needs of seafarers and arrange necessary courses and assessments.
- Ensure that seafarers complete mandatory safety training and other required courses.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Local or London O/L 6 passes with 'C' for Maths and English.
- Minimum - 2 passes for A/L's or successful completion of UGC approved A/L equivalent foundation course with minimum one-year experience.
