JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in providing information supported by market data on potential new markets/products during the Annual Budgeting and Corporate planning process that the company could embark on to be included in the annual business plan.
- Ensure to periodically update the relevant management information systems with the required information on areas such as customer feedback, market developments, and future trends-related information in order to provide
- Carry out market research and Identify new business opportunities.
- Support in promoting the Sri Lanka Shipping brand and envisaged future brands and their perceived image by developing, maintaining, and monitoring the branding strategy by defining and refining the organization's brand positioning within the market.
- Liaise with Corporate communication and assist in providing branding data supported by market research. Work closely with our social media platforms and improve our brand presence online.
- the management with up-to-date status of key areas vital for the company's existence.
- Collecting Data accurately to help with the ESG Report.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Local or London O/L 6 passes with 'C' for Maths and English.
- Minimum - 2 passes for A/Ls or successful completion of UGC-approved A/L equivalent foundation course with minimum one-year experience.
- Ability to think out of the box and not shy to share their thoughts.
- Positive attitude towards learning new things.
- Basic interest in Shipping.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good command of English and Sinhala languages.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
