Head of Sales and Marketing - Airlines
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and related reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Managing organizational sales by evaluating business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Setting individual sales targets for the sales team.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary and same to be recorded properly.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team regularly.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation to maximize revenues.
- Appropriate trainings to be done to improve performance of sales team .
- Developing sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Take appropriate marketing actions to promote the organization and products to make awareness in the market.
- Understand customers’ needs while establishing healthy relationships with all stakeholders.
- Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of minimum experience in the Airlines Sales Industry is a MUST.
- Knowledge on GDS.
- Good command of English, Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
- Must be able to lead and motivate the sales team.
