Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance 

Job Summary: 

The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will play a key role in maintaining and improving our product quality standards aligned to our quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes. This position reports directly to the Manager - Quality Assurance and involves collaboration with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The main job functions of this position will include,

• Development & execution of Manuals, Policies, SOPs, work instructions & specifications relating to product / service quality standards.
• Drive Process improvement projects and troubleshooting projects by using various quality tools and techniques.
•  Planning & execution of incoming/ outgoing/ in-process & pre-shipment inspections.
• Supporting & conducting external and internal audits as and when required. 
• Enhance awareness of the QMS among all employees of the plant. 

The ideal candidate should possess,

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in physical science, chemical / process engineering, material science or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Diploma level qualification in Quality Management from a reputed institution
• Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience in a reputed organization preferably in large scale export manufacturing sector. 
• Sound knowledge on quality management systems such as ISO, SLS and EMS
• Knowledge in SAP, MS Office Package
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of quality tools & techniques. 
• Detail oriented mindset with a focus on managing high accuracy & attention to quality standards. 
• Auditor, lead auditor qualification and auditing experience on ISO 9001/ ISO 14001 is preferable.
