Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Assistant Manager – Engineering for it’s manufacturing facility at Biyagama

Job Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive maintenance for plants and equipment 
• Managing recruitment, training and development of engineering team
• Evaluate project proposals and make recommendations to improve process and plants
• Knowledge of Thermic Heater, Generators, Compressors and Chillers 
• Ensure a safe working environment through performing activities that would prevent accidents. 
• Maintain plant engineering up time at highest level, control maintenance cost and maintain machinery spares at optimum level 
• Process improvement Energy Saving
• EMS improvements and Product Quality Improvement. 
• Calibration of equipment 

Person’s Profile 

• A degree preferably relating to Engineering (Mechanical) or NDT Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in Manufacturing sector
• Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English and Sinhala
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong results orientation 
• Ability to work well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
• Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite and SAP
