Assistant Manager - BPO Operations

We are on the lookout for a young , dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a strong finance and accounting domain expertise to lead a growing team of young professionals in our BPO operation. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Guide a team of young accountants and team leads to deliver the agreed service levels for all operational teams under purview
• Manage daily operational queries
• Manage work volumes and organize work methodically according to the priorities and deadlines
• Detail review of financial documents and other reports compiled by the team leads for accuracy, completeness and also to add value through deep domain expertise
• Perform and supervise the month end, quarter end and year-end financial reporting deliverables
• Supervise, coach and train staff on adherence to the accounting and reporting standards and to the agreed process with the client
• Focus on continuous process improvement plan including automation opportunities within the team
• Conducting operational review meetings with all stakeholders including senior partners of the client and internal management team
• Recruitment of team members,  training and developing the team
• Work with cross functional and operational teams to ensure smooth operational delivery 

Candidate Profile 

• Passed Finalist / member of ACCA or CIMA 
• Over 5 years of working experience in audit /finance / finance operations in the BPM industry or any commercial organization (Previous experience in the BPM industry having served UK clients or related work experience in UK would be beneficial) 
• Possess a very good knowledge in accounting treatments complying with IFRS standards with the ability to recommend the best solutions  
• Previous experience in managing a large team and ability to deliver through teams is essential
• Knowledge in XERO*, MYOB* is an added advantage
• Excellent communication in English is a must (both written and spoken)
• Ability to handle senior stakeholders and proactively engage with the clients for  excellent customer service
• Highly organized with attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and multitask  while managing multiple teams
• Ability to work from home or office and manage teams remotely
• Enthusiastic personality with a positive and a confident attitude
