Job Purpose
The Associate Marketing Manager – Mathematics provides marketing execution and operational support to support the business goals of the math product and service portfolio. This position reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, who will support the Associate Marketing Manager in learning all aspects of educational publishing while building skills in product marketing, digital marketing, and customer lifecycle marketing.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing, and distributing marketing materials, including internal communications, promotional emails, sales collateral, blogs, etc.
• Assisting with digital marketing, including crafting email campaigns and tracking results to analyze their effectiveness
• Writing and posting relevant, high-quality content to social media posts and website blogs while tracking results and the effectiveness of campaigns
• Assisting in the organization, execution, and promotion of educational events/conferences and attend, as needed, to facilitate their success
• Crafting periodic sales, marketing, and/or research reports
• Monitoring and assessing market and competitive trends and customer needs to formulate sales tools and collateral to inform sales & marketing efforts
• Supporting website content management
• Maintaining the internal library of marketing documents and materials
• Providing administrative support to the marketing team
• Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs

• Minimum of one year using enterprise-level marketing automation platform (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar)
• 1-2 years of professional experience
• BA or MBA in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
• Interest in PK-12 education and/or education publishing is preferred
• Certification in or familiarity with the Pragmatic Marketing
• Strong writing and editing skills are essential
• Fastidious attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative climate required
• Strong team player, able to harmoniously work within a group and/or other departments
• Self-starter able to prioritize and balance multiple projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of social media and social networking platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
• Command of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Experience with any of the following is a plus, Photoshop, InDesign, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and/or Salesforce
