This year we are launching the Infrastructure Academy in Gdansk! Academy means working and training in 1!
Therefore, we are searching for a person who already has her/his first IT experiences (as IT helpdesk, LAN admin, IT support). We are looking for a passionate freak, having an aptitude for learning and a hands-on approach.
Infrastructure Team @Genesis delivers GCP cloud-based web apps solutions. We solve all kinds of problems and implement new ideas related to the product. What is the outcome? Software platform for online casinos.
It means you will be a member of a team of experts who are ready to onboard you well and share their best knowledge. We will build with you a long-term plan for your career.
Upon first 8 months, the Academy Participant will be offered the following:
- Full time employment contract
- Online technical courses to reach fundamentals in utilised technologies
- Training with touching technologies
- Mentoring sessions (dealing with tasks & issues)

What will you do next?
Utilize Infrastructure as Code approach and all the blessing that comes within, like:
- Google Cloud Platform - as a base for all our implementations,
- Ansible – as our main Configuration Management Tool,
- Terraform – for provisioning,
- ad-hoc scripting in Python/Groovy/Bash,
- Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines and more other fancy tools related to CI/CD,
- Kubernetes – for Java applications,
- Elastic Stack, Zabbix, Grafana – for wide monitoring,
... and a few more interesting tools.
We are looking for:
- Final year student of engineering science (if you studied other faculty prove to us that you are the right person for this role!) or passionate with relevant certificates
- Technology enthusiast with strong interest in software delivery and trying new solutions
- Open-minded team player with problem-solving skills (having good command of English and fluent Polish)
- Someone who likes a non-corporate environment and wants to grow with us!
