FREE NOW is looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join us in the Data Governance team and manage domains of the Data Quality workstream. You can join us either in one of our offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Barcelona or 100% remote within the EU/within Europe.
As a specialist, you will be responsible for developing and shaping the DATA Department’s backbone processes and Data Quality control environments, be on point to promote their adoption and sustainability by all roles in DATA and across the company where applicable.
Your role:
- Implementation support of all data governance pillars - Accountability, Data Sourcing, Data Provisioning, Metadata, Lineage, Data Quality, Data Retention, Intake Management - and their sustainability to continuously promote stability and confidence in our data to stakeholders across the company.
- Evaluate, implement and monitor lean processes related to the above pillars while ensuring end-to-end data movement, in our DWH and reports in all tools, is accurate, complete, valid, and meets stakeholder requirements.
- Evaluate and implement data movement and business data quality controls in our DWH to fulfil our designed Data Quality Framework.
- Evaluate and define domain data models to support with a One Single Source of Truth creation and downstream KPIs Source of Truth in our DWH.
- Ensure our Data Governance tool is up to date including Data Classification management.
- Collaborate with team members across the organisation – DATA and the company.
Your profile:
You are a problem solver, detail-oriented and self-motivated who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment, combining technical, product, business and leadership perspectives. Further key aspects of your profile are:
- A degree in business studies, computer science, psychology or another subject with a significant process and controls focus.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in analytics, process mapping, and implementing frameworks for continuous improvement from both technical and business perspectives.
- Strong Excel, SQL, Visio/Draw, JIRA knowledge; Python and R helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and spoken English.
