Full Stack Engineer

Dollar Flight Club is a 100% remote travel company that helps 1 million+ members save money on their next adventure and stay informed on important travel news across the globe. We’re currently hiring for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer who can help take the company to the next level with their technical knowledge. The Dollar Flight Club team is small, agile, tight-knit, scrappy, and results-focused. We’re looking for an exceptional engineer to help us improve our current products and build new ones that will pave the way for growth in 2022 and beyond.

Overview: We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who is passionate about building user-first experiences to join our small engineering team. You will play an important part in building our engineering organization as one of our first full-time engineering team members. We’re looking for someone who has experience working on both the front and backend, and thrives on designing user-friendly experiences to delight users. You’ll be responsible for helping maintain the backend and frontend functionality across all of Dollar Flight Club’s products (Dollar Flight Club, The Navigator Newsletter, Next Stop Newsletter, and more to come) by leveraging your experience and the small outsourced engineering team we currently work with.

Qualifications:

• A passion for building engaging user experiences
• A strong background (4 years +) in Software Engineering with a focus on building, maintaining, and deploying production-ready code
• The ability to bring leading industry techniques and technologies to the table
• You can work independently and are comfortable owning entire projects
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment and willing to wear many hats

Bonus:
