Position Summary

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for a Data Steward to join our Data Quality Management department. The Data Steward will ensure the quality and compliance of data assets. The candidate will provide stewardship of assigned data assets, analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies, data integrity, and quality standards defined in coordination with the head of Data Quality Management and the Data Steward team.

This position reports directly to the Sr Manager, Operational Performance Management.

Location

For this remote position, there is a preference to hire in the Eastern time zone, however qualified candidates in other areas of the United States would be considered.

Core Responsibilities

• Ongoing measurement, monitoring, and analysis of data quality in support of specific business objectives
• Design, manage, and execute data quality improvement programs for assigned data assets
• Development of data driven interactive dashboards & preparation of data using GUI driven tools
• Manage the sourcing and data flow of the assigned data assets
• Maintain quality of the data using client feedback, internal reporting metrics
• Identify areas for optimizing workflows for the assigned data assets
• Monitor data asset usage internally and externally to identify areas of focus

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years in the construction industry is preferred, including demonstrated expertise in construction information gathering, researching, or equivalent fields
• Qualified candidates will be familiar with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience working with SQL
• Prior experience working with Tableau Desktop & Tableau prep is preferred
• Experience with agile development process and product development process preferred
• Positive, professional demeanor
• Self-Starter who is motivated and can still collaborate with others
• Must be able to work independently and with specific direction as well
• Ability to analyze large data sets and provide clear communications to the head of Data Quality Management and other stakeholders of the specific health of the data assets
• Ability to coordinate multiple data quality programs and manage tasks of each

Compensation and Benefits

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role may be eligible for a market competitive bonus upon accepted offer.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000

For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
