Day Translation is announcing its career opening for the position of Proposal Writer. We are seeking a Proposal Writer who has experience writing compliant, clear, and persuasive proposal text for various opportunities. This role is remote, but we ideally seek someone located in the USA while native or C2 level English language is mandatory.

The proposal writer's responsibilities include researching, gathering information, formatting the information according to the company's policies, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for proposal writing.
• Writing clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections that translate complex ideas into easily understandable text.
• Using organizational skills to track and report on assignments, status, and issues and needs.
• Collaborating with the team and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Editing and revising proposals according to feedback from all stakeholders.
• Maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.
• Developing and implementing improvements to help improve proposal quality (processes, examples, guidance, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or another relevant field.
• Previous experience in proposal writing is required. Translation industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and attention to detail.
• Time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Digital savvy – comfortable using various tools to automate daily work.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English (Native or C2).

Note: Candidates should be prepared to take additional tests/interviews.
