Who we are

Vicoland transforms the professional services industry through a new supplier type: Vicos (short for Virtual Companies). These Vicos are teams of freelancers, enabled by our SaaS platform to act as if they were a real company. This allows Vicos to successfully compete for interesting, large projects from enterprise clients.

Our more than 600 Vicos are already disrupting the professional services market. Since our launch last year, they have been working with world-renowned clients and partners such as Netflix, AWS, Tupperware, SAP, BectonDickinson, HDI or Colliers. This start already brought us some media attention - Forbes Magazine called Vicoland the Startup of startups. Forrester named us one of the seven leading human cloud platforms in the world, and the only European one.

Our offer to you

As important as our technology is our human organization. Here, the key figure is the Managing Partner (MP). MPs are the “market makers”, each MP running a group of Vicos, like their own group of companies. While our marketing & sales organization provides client leads, MPs make sure clients and Vicos come together and do great projects. Being an MP at Vicoland is like being a director in a consultancy or agency but more entrepreneurial with more opportunity professionally and financially.

The Vicoland business in data services is growing rapidly. To take advantage of our growth opportunities in this area we look for you to become one of our leaders as a Managing Partner.

Tasks

• Lead the client engagement for your group of Vicos. This ranges from matching interested clients with the right Vicos to creating long-term growing client relationships. (Our sales organization will hand over client relationships to you once clients have signalled interest in working with Vicos in your domain).
• Identify upselling opportunities with clients for your Vico group as well as for Vicoland in general.
• Define and implement the growth strategy for your Vico group.
• At your discretion, directly contribute to key client projects in your personal areas
  of expertise.
• Support our Partner Program organization in founding and growing Vicos.
• Participate in the constant development and improvement of the Vicoland technical product, operations and strategy.

Requirements

To be a high-performing Managing Partner you should have the following qualifications:

• > 6 years of professional experience in data services, incl. data architecture,
  data engineering, containerization
• > 3 years of leadership experience as project owner and team leader with excellent
  results
• > 3 years of experience as owner of successfully growing client relationships
• Ability to grasp complex requirements rapidly and in a structured way
• Excellence in recognizing and realizing business opportunities in data enterprise services
• A university degree
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German
