Position Overview:  
 
We’re looking for a Associate Marketing Director, Paid Media that is skilled in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive efficiency, incrementality, and profitable long-term customer and business outcomes. This will be a hands-on role responsible for leading and optimizing Paid Media and consequently will be expected to bring deep, demonstrated experience across programmatic display, paid social, video, and native channels. Responsible for managing the paid media budget, the individual in this role has a chance to help shape the digital future of the Brilliant Earth brand. 

 
Responsibilities 

• Lead paid media team responsible for managing and optimizing campaigns across programmatic/display, paid social and native platforms 
• Responsible for daily execution of targeting tactics including bid adjustments, budget management, and audience management across multiple different campaign goals and KPIs 
• Proactively analyze performance trends in order to identify, communicate, and capitalize on digital marketing performance opportunities across platforms, audiences, creative, and technologies 
• Maintain forecasting and budgeting across channels with a high degree of accuracy 
• Develop testing plans to maximize investment value and traffic, and share insights with cross-functional partners 
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Creative, Site Marketing and Product Development to execute full-funnel campaigns in support of awareness, consideration, and purchase KPIs 
• Maintain strong knowledge of online advertising, retail/eCommerce, and competitive trends 
   

Qualifications 

• 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, growth, or demand generation 
• Previous experience in Performance / Growth Marketing at a DTC Brand or agency
• Hands on experience with programmatic DSPs & social platforms, campaign management, bidding strategies and optimization techniques 
• Results-oriented and data-driven mindset with a highly analytical view of A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance 
• Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV 
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills 
• Highly organized and exceptional attention to details 
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to execute projects and achieve goals 
• Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships 
• Proficient in Excel, experience with Google Analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo) are a plus 
• BA degree or equivalent 
• Experience leading teams
• Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products 

The targeted budget for this position is up to 150k. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
