Description:
• Manage a team of professionals to support Cloud Build Engineering function.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of Cloud Build Engineering team.
• Provide guidance to the team on environments and procedures.
• Build, implement, troubleshoot and handover in operation cloud based solutions and IT architectures, following given design documentation, according to GBS standards and business requirements, working with peer organizations within CLIENT (technical and business) as well as our service provider partners
• Adhere, document and develop CLIENT Technology standards to support enhancement of coverage and drifts avoidance
• Create standard procedures to enhance scalability and performance of existing Infrastructure architecture.
• Maintain and support disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuous availability and speedy recovery.
• Work with partner teams to initiate and coordinate improvements to Wolters Kluwer’s service platforms across cloud hosting environments
• Contribute as Cloud DevOps engineer implementing infrastructure as code automation using the most recent available technologies to build continuous improvement and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Prepare reports on Infrastructure scalability and capacity planning as needed.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in accurate and timely manner.
• Develop best practices for performance and operational efficiency.
• Stay updated with new Cloud technologies and analyze such technologies to bring into scope of existing infrastructure.
• Conduct training programs for staff on standard operating procedures and ensure smooth onboarding and team development.
• Drive conversations about Cloud Operations and Infrastructure related topics with both technical & business audiences.
• Work in a team environment within the Operations and Infrastructure administration team as well as with other Technical Service Group teams and other departments within Wolters Kluwer.
• Work with other teams and departments to support new solutions as required for project and operational tasks.
• Provide regular updates to management on projects status.
• Provide regular reports on performance and stability of Infrastructure environments, identifying coming needs proactively to ensure continued reliable service.
• Act as point of contact to divisions.
• Ensure Project timelines and deliverables expectations are met.
• Comply with Wolters Kluwer existing ITIL based processes of Service Request, Change, Incident, Problem management.
• Take ownership of and proactively seek to improve on existing systems and solutions.
• Enjoy constantly learning new technologies and contributing to the knowledge of others.
• Work outside of regular business hours as required for project or operational work.
