We’re a growing team building tools that directly impact our patients and families, as well as our clinic staff. We work quickly but calmly. We are looking for a seasoned engineer to help us build the tools that run our clinics. We use React Native extensively across iOS, macOS, and Android. You’ll work with wonderful engineers, designers, and medical providers to build creative solutions for our families and clinic staff. You’ll have autonomy and see the impact of the code you write.

Everyone on our team can work across the stack (although some specialize). We use TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, Hasura, Postgres, and GraphQL to build our mobile & desktop apps, website, and backend.

This is a full time, remote position (US only) at a fast-growing startup.

• Build apps for mobile and desktop with React Native
  
• Use Storybook to quickly develop components and screens independently of the main app
• Write unit tests for your business logic with Jest
• Use Detox to write comprehensive end to end tests
• Write and test your code for iPad and macOS to make sure it works on multiple platforms
• Participate in our standups to understand what we're working on
• Dive into our apps to learn all the ins and outs
• Work with teammates to ship new features and improve the tools that run our clinics
• Participate in code reviews and planning
• Join our on call rotation and help our clinic staff with urgent support issues
• Share your knowledge with other engineers and help level up your teammates
• Ensure we have a performant, secure, extensible platform for our mobile applications

• 3 or more years of development experience, 1 or more with React Native
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with testing tools
• Experience with Postgres
• Experience with React Native and TypeScript
• Be a kind human (or a kind, super intelligent dolphin)
