We are looking for a motivated and analytical Field Marketing Leader to join our team at WordPress VIP. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, the Field Marketer works hand in hand with WPVIP’s Commercial and Enterprise Sales, Marketing and Partner teams to build awareness, conversion, pipeline and advocacy of key marketing programs. You’ll play an influential role in the conception and execution of campaigns supporting Marketing strategy for pipeline growth, offer insights and analytics on performance, and work across Marketing teams and partners for a full-funnel view. The successful candidate is an analytical go-getter who is adept at developing collaborative working relationships with business unit partners, marketing colleagues, cross-functional teams and/or vendors as well as playing a team lead role to deliver results.
As our field marketer, this person will need to act as an individual contributor as well as mentor a team of full-stack marketers to maximize impact as follows:
- Optimize channel performance for both owned and industry events
- Discover new sources of growth by testing new field marketing channels
- Drive global growth by developing regional and/or country specific growth tactics and strategies
- Put our salespeople in front of our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in situations where they can win
- Develop, plan, and execute field marketing programs - including third-party and WPVIP and Parse.ly hosted events, and virtual experiences.
- Assisting, accelerating, and creating sales opportunities to drive revenue through industry, custom events and field initiatives by working directly with the sales team to identify customers & prospects from target accounts.
- Managing key metrics such as pipeline generation, opportunity conversion, cost per meeting, cost per lead, etc.
- Reporting on the impact that field events have on top target accounts, including account engagement and pipeline growth. This includes ensuring that attribution is being correctly and properly reported.
- Training GTM teams on content, processes, and workflows surrounding field events and programs Collaborating with demand gen team on programs that drive pre-show interest, attendance, and post-show conversion activity and engagement.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills and a track record for delivering results in the field.
- Manage the overall budget and calendar for Field Marketing related business.
- 5+ years of experience in a Field Marketing, Event Marketing or similar role.
- Experience using Salesforce and Pardot.
- Experience using virtual event platforms such as GoToWebinar or ZoomWebinar.
- Experience with B2B and Account Based Marketing (ABM) preferred.
- Have strong planning and organizational skills, you’re all about the details.
- Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around field marketing performance.
- Extremely detail-oriented and ability to handle ambiguity.
- Basic understanding of the sales pipeline funnel.
- Experience planning and executing a user conference.
- Experience with a data pipeline, analytics, and data visualization tools.
- Experience building or supporting sites powered by WordPress.
