As a Manager of Developer Support Engineering, you will use your technical aptitude, and outstanding communication skills, to support Affirm’s external merchant and platform partners with effective integration solutions. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our technical teams to come up with solutions to unique integration issues our partners might face.
Finally, as a founding member of the DSE team in Poland, you will establish and grow a team of Developer Support Engineers over time to ensure that our commercial teams can be supported in bringing Affirm’s products to market at scale. You will be responsible for building world-class, diverse teams to meet those needs.
What You'll Do- Quickly become a specialist in Affirm's APIs, products, and integration documentation
- Cultivate a respectful and supportive environment for all team members that effectively demonstrates the diversity of the team
- Project manage and provide support to merchants that are executing on proposed integrations
- Fix merchant issues that are highly technical and work with engineering teams to improve the developer experience
- Creatively seek solutions to emergent problem spaces as we build out new platforms, technologies, and merchant requirements
- Develop tools to help scale our merchant facing teams and improve efficiency
- Analyze technical support patterns that can help drive product improvements
- Hire and build a team of in-region Developer Support Engineers.
- Participate in Incident Communications on-call rotations.
What We Look For
- Proven track record of establishing and growing teams, and comfort working with ambiguity
- Passion and drive to change consumer banking for the better
- BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working with frontend Web technologies and/or APIs, and 1+ years managing cross-functional technical teams
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or PHP
- World-class communicator with excellent instincts for empathetic messaging
- Keen technical mind comfortable reading and understanding full-stack code
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills - familiarity with Chrome Developer Tools is a plus
- Task jugglers who can keep dozens of balls in the air and thrive - help build internal tools one day and have a phone call with a client the next!

Location - Remote Poland
