Senior Front Unity Gameplay Engineer

AccelOne is looking for a Senior Front Unity Gameplay Engineer with an advanced English level to be part of an important international project.

As a Unity Gameplay Engineer, you'll work closely with designers, artists, and product managers in cross-functional teams to develop gameplay features. You’ll be a core member of a team that’s working on bringing an innovative new game to market.

The next project is focused on designing and implementing decentralized gaming experiences and UI. Our client's first game is a pixel based MMORPG. Users will have numerous widgets and game mechanics to interact with that will need to be optimized for web & mobile. Additionally our unity client will need to connect with relevant blockchain API’s including OpenSea, Ethereum Blockchain, Polygon Blockchain, and Web3 Wallet platforms. Crypto experience is not necessary, but valued. The ambition is to be the best in the world at delivering blockchain gaming experiences in an intuitive and delightful manner to their users.

• Work cross-functionally with many teams, product, technical, operations; mentor and guide junior developers.
• Lead by example on coding standards, documentation, and unit test coverage.
• You will be a key contributor to an expert team, requiring you to be technically creative and innovative.
• Collaborate effectively with engineer, designers, and stakeholders.
• You must must have strong sense of ownership in start-to-finish delivery of game features.
• You will be required to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with high coding standards and technical design.
• Be comfortable moving fast: the sooner we deploy a feature the sooner we can start learning to improve it.
• You must be smart, resourceful, self-motivated, have high-energy and be a passionate team player.
• You must be a self-starter and self-initiator.
• You sould have passion for games and deep understanding of game mechanics

• Fluent or native English speaker.
• 5+ years of engineering experience working on games
• 3+ years of Unity experience as part of a team with other Unity engineers
• Fluent in C#
• In-depth experience with Git
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Experience in Web3 development and Smart Contract interactions.
• Experience in Web Game development background.
• Experience with Build size and performance optimization
• Prior Unity & WebGl development experience
• Worked on major game titles
• Experience optimizing or rewriting major systems
• Basic understanding of gaming backend systems
