AccelOne is looking for a AWS Database Engineer with an advanced English to work on an important international project.

About our Project
Our client is a major US business company focused on selling greeting cards, gift wrap and related products in more than 30 languages with distribution in nearly 100 countries. Moreover, it has a Media branch that operates three cable channels, which features an ambitious slate of new, original content, including movies, scripted series, and annual specials.
Role Summary
- Work cross-functionally with many teams, product, technical, operations; mentor and guide junior developers.
- Lead by example on coding standards, documentation, and unit test coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with engineer, designers, and stakeholders.
- You must be smart, resourceful, self-motivated, have high-energy and be a passionate team player.
- Design, develop and maintain databases
- Database performance tuning
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues
- Implement disaster recovery and high availability plans
- Assist with creation and implementation of backup and recovery plans
- Implementation of security standards
- Work with team in a collaborative environment
- Apply excellent judgment, problem resolution, negotiation, and decision-making skills as well as the ability to work within established timelines.
- Identify, analyze, and drive problems to resolution, handle complex issues simultaneously while effectively communicating across teams
- Effectively communicate technical actions and expectations to the appropriate audience
Job Requirements
- Experience as a Database Administrator
- Experience with Relational and Non Relational DBs, ex MSSQL and MySQL, DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Bash or Python scripting
- Experience setting up highly-available solutions
- Experience with monitoring database/system performance
- Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security procedures
