LTK’s Data Science and Data Intelligence department is an integral component of the company’s Central Technology mission, playing a key role in the organization's general dare-driven transformation. As a Data Scientist, Staff / Manager, you will be a technical leader and core contributor within a growth-hungry, acceleration minded team of problem solvers and product-builders. - Serve as organization mentor and ‘go-to’ thought leader for data scientists, analysts, developers, and others interested in the field
- Own design and development of cloud solution architectures for analytical product features
- Leverage Python, Scala, and other languages to perform exploratory analytics, feature engineering, and advanced mathematical modeling
- Make use of data visualization tools to explain / interpret results in a clear, digestible way
- Leverage cloud technologies to deploy and integrate predictive and prescriptive models into operational applications
- Help administer log analytics, labeling tools, and model monitoring frameworks
- Help lead grooming and planning sessions to translate business requirements into technical requirements for development purposes
- Have a passion for detail, ensuring code is readable, well documented, and testable so that team members can expand on and support it as needed
- Experience driving to production multiple, budgeted end-to-end ML or DL product features / application services
- Proven ability to individually develop and support an operational ML or DL application service
- Master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field required; PhD preferred; additionally, at least 13 total years of hands-on, demonstrable experience leveraging statistics, probability, and computer languages to build mathematical models
- Expert knowledge of Python (as well as related languages) and fundamental libraries for statistics, machine learning, and deep learning
- Deep experience with software development and frameworks, particularly for ML/DL services
- Thorough understanding of visual storytelling with python libraries like matplotlib, plotly, and seaborn
- Hands-on experience BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sisense), especially in leveraging BI as part of Data Science workflow
- Ability to converse fluently about fundamental areas of machine and deep learning, including but not limited to exploratory analysis, feature engineering, sampling, validation, monitoring, advanced deep learning architectures, as well as related topics, like semi-supervised and active learning
- At least 2 years AWS deployment experience; 5 total years cloud deployment experience required
- Experience as senior technical lead role in agile team required
- Experience working on a remote team and coaching / mentoring / leading data science team members required
- Experience working with off-/near-shore development teams required
