About Our Internship Program
As a thredUP summer intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at the world’s largest fashion resale platform. During the 10 week program, you will tackle projects alongside our world-class team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on thredUP’s business.
Our paid internships are ideal for ambitious students or recent grads who thrive in ambiguity, like a good challenge, and want a jump start on their career development. Oh, and who want to help inspire a new generation of consumers to think secondhand first!
About The Internship
At thredUP, we’re working to revolutionize the clothing industry and we're looking for a Data engineer intern to help build, improve, maintain data pipelines and integration frameworks for data ingestion and data transformation. If you are excited by recent developments in cloud data technologies and the ability to solve complex problems with an engineering team that is passionate about our culture, the quality of our code, and building a successful company, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For
An ideal candidate is a good communicator, curious about e-commerce, and comfortable working with data oriented applications. Coursework or previous intern experience with tools like SQL, ETL/ELT Data Pipelines, Python, Java or other programming languages will definitely help you in this role. You will have the option to do the internship in a hybrid fashion (part remote/part in-office at our Scottsdale, AZ location), or fully remote.
