Reveleer is seeking a Sr. Director of Data Management to drive the primary data management activity that Reveleer executes for our clients’ Risk and Quality programs. The work involves guiding an operational team to execute the full lifecycle of a project data: validation, testing, loading, maintenance, as well as extracts/reporting, and critically, conversion to and from our data specifications to external system specs. The Director of Data Management will manage a team of experienced data analysts and coordinators and will be a part of Reveleer’s Technology Organization team reporting to the CTO. The role also provides opportunity for significant Client interaction with both technical and business stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Provide strong thought leadership and set processes that lead to good implementation architecture
- Design and implement flexible and scalable methodologies that can be applied to a broad set of unique problem types across data management. Ground team in the established repeatable method to exercise strong data management
- Lead team in the collection and handling of project data received as part of client engagements and assigned initiatives
- Deliver and execute a plan to modernize the Risk/Quality project data infrastructure and tools to efficiently support project operations, reporting, and analytics
- Define and implement best practices for all project data management, data governance, and data integration processes and tools
- Develop and lead strategy and roadmap for data management system/operations
- Identify opportunities for and launch automations as well as client “self-service” for data loading, maintenance, and extract motions
- Scope, define, and submit product requirements for platform data management features, functionality, and interfaces
- Set requirements for documenting client and system-specific data mapping needs, transformation rules, and any business rules related intelligence
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve the data discovery and onboarding process
- Command all quality assurance and integrity testing set of standards on policies, processes, procedures
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Track record leading/managing a data management operations for enterprise (B2B) SaaS organization or similar experience
- Expertise working with SQL-based architecture.
- Command of data governance, versioning, archiving, etc
- Experience developing SQL Server database tables, view, stored procedure, and user-defined functions and tuning for optimization
- Experience using Powershell basic scripting commands for file I/O operations or other comparable scripting languages for file system operations
- Working knowledge of healthcare industry and health data (provider demographics, patient data, Quality/Risk program information, compliance standards) is strongly preferred with background specific to quality measures (HEDIS), risk adjustment, and medical record review or audit.
- Experience in the area of working with healthcare claims or any type of insurance claim data (e.g. auto, property) will also be considered
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or the Sciences is preferred.
