Backend Engineer (REMOTE)

If you are a person that:

• Is a team player, and believe that people working together to deliver value is more important than processes or frameworks (although for sure they help);

• Is not afraid to work in fast paced environments, with constant change and uncertainty in a growing phase of the company;

• Have experience working in multidisciplinary teams with multiple stakeholders to understand, document and develop software to meet their requirements;

• Have deep understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms;

• Worked with NodeJS frameworks;

• Have experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google cloud);

• Knows all (or at least a good amount) about databases: SQL and NoSQL;

• Likes to work towards more efficient, scalable and stable systems;

• Is capable of delivering production-level code and managing the software lifecycle;

• Like to see the direct impact of your work on the end customer;

• Have developed APIs ensuring optimisation of database usage and caching information

You would be more than welcome to join our team, focusing on:

• Building backend APIs with a TDD approach, focusing on high performance & code quality

• Designing, developing and deploying end-to-end data pipelines that meet business requirements

• Ensuring proper monitoring and infrastructure stability

• Collaborate with other tech, product, and design people to identify and solve challenging problems, creating awesome experiences for users worldwide
