Head of Content at YAZIO GmbH

We are seeking a Head of Content, a newly created role with the main responsibility to guide, manage and lead a team of creative heads (nutrition content, recipe and localization managers) to set up an international, world-class content strategy, which will help skyrocket YAZIO’s presence within the nutrition and fitness market! Your Mission

Collaborate closely with the founders and develop a long-term vision for content, as well as determining what a content team –including language, nutrition, recipe and product experts – should look like at YAZIO. Then, build and lead that team.
Develop and drive a content program that generates excitement for the YAZIO brand and builds trust in digital nutrition.
Manage, scale and inspire a high-performing nutrition content, recipe and localization team and expand the content output in all fields.
Work cross-functionally with various teams and lead the content creation process and implementation together with the responsible team leads (e.g. Be a sparring partner for those creating content within our marketing channels).
Lead and develop all content creation efforts and strategies for our website and app, with particular focus on the app.
Define and control quantitative and qualitative standards for processes and content- requirements.
Pre-empt developments in the competitive landscape to ensure we deliver industry-leading content.
Coordinate process optimization and workflows to constantly improve content.

Your Profile

MUST-HAVE: Strong affinity for internet and mobile technology
5+ years of experience in the field of content creation and/or project management
A proven leader and motivator to successfully guide teams and projects
Content production experience in the fitness and nutrition industry as well as a strong personal interest in nutrition
Strong sense of what great app/digital content looks like when you see it and a sound intuition of what content people prefer to consume
Attention to detail as well as big-picture and strong critical thinking
Very strong analysis skills with the ability to take an ambiguous problem and use data insights to identify goals and clear metrics
Strong leadership skills; ready to take initiative and think outside the box
Strong storytelling sensibilities and excellent creative writing skills
Specific examples from previous jobs demonstrating the positive impacts your content leadership has had on company growth
Fluent in English and German with excellent written communication skills
