What's in it for you

We are looking for a full-time Tech Editor to help us design and create contents (copy, video, slides, infographics etc.) for our courses on coding, robotics and digital education. Our courses are designed to provide training for teachers of Primary and Secondary Schools or professional development for companies’ and institutions’ employees.

What does a Junior Tech Editor do?

Working together with the Education Team and the Communications Team, a Tech Editor participates in the design, development, and implementation of training and educational projects for students of every age: writes lesson plans, sketches scripts for videos, animations and cartoons, creates tests and learning games and, lastly, interacts with teachers and students on the WeSchool Community online. All of this, with a strong focus on coding and digital education.

At WeSchool we believe that teaching and learning better (and in a fun way) is not just about technology but about the right mix of effective methodologies, content, well-trained teachers, and motivated students. We believe that the “recipe” for teaching must always begin with good planning and the use of the most effective tools. Basic Qualifications:

• Expertise within the area of technology, with focus on coding and robotics
• Good coding skills
• Native English speaker or C1 level
• Excellent writing skills and ability to review educational contents
• Strong communication (synchronous and asynchronous) skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams
• Good organizational and team working skills
• Passionate about the Tech world, Education and Science Communication

Desirable Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of the main teaching techniques (synchronous and asynchronous, in person, blended, collaborative etc.)
• Previous experience with content creation and instructional design (not necessarily for schools)
• Image and video editing skills

About Us

We have recently closed a Series A funding round to scale technology and enter new markets.

We provide an online classroom collaboration e-learning platform developed in-house by our Tech team that has enabled 1.7M (20% of) Italian students not to miss school - the other 2 platforms were Google and Microsoft - and to amplify their learning experience by leveraging digital tools during the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020.

We are a young, fast-growing, and fast-paced team that values collaboration and innovation as keys to reaching our mission. Our company is home to almost 50 full-time employees. And we plan to double our team in 2022 to push on our international growth with a full-remote first and objective-based approach.
