Reporting to the Senior Growth Marketing Manager, the Health Plan Marketing Manager will help the Patient Marketing team deliver on ambitious application growth goals. You will define and execute comprehensive marketing plans that accelerate conversion and multiply our reach (with consideration to HIPAA and other relevant health care regulations). This role is a great fit for someone with experience in healthcare marketing who is a self-starter, strong relationship-builder, and has a passion for purpose-built organizations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the launch and integrated communications strategy for health plan accounts in order to effectively reach, educate, and motivate their members to apply to Virta.
- Apply marketing best practices across traditional and digital marketing (push/pull channels), including: direct marketing, awareness/prospecting ads, web and member portals, stakeholder relationships and referrals, and other seasonal initiatives to reach members where they are, and drive behavior change.
- Develop and deepen relationships with internal stakeholders to support the health plan book of business and patient marketing needs.
- Serve as a customer advocate and find creative solutions to help both the customer and Virta teammates hit their enrollment KPIs for health plans.
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Develop and optimize our health plan marketing strategy and takeover current campaign management.
- Identify new or additional outreach opportunities for health plans to drive awareness, educate, and motivate eligible members to apply to Virta.
- Jump in as an integrated communications subject matter expert and deepen relationships with customers and internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Patient Marketing, Implementation).
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of professional experience developing and managing integrated marketing communications plans and strategies (digital and traditional marketing)
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, public relations or business
- A strong understanding of the nuances of B2B2C marketing, ideally within health care
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and build relationships, while also applying skillful negotiation to get customers to ‘yes’ to secure member access/reach
- Excellent problem-solving, internal/external project management, presentation, and analytical skills with good business acumen (quant/qual)
- Self-motivated and enjoy driving multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
