As part of the Patient Growth Marketing Channel Team, you will run marketing automation campaigns for driving Virta awareness, as well as applications and enrollments. As part of a small team, you’ll be able to build a number of new automation and channel initiatives from the ground up and quickly turn ideas into action to maximize engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and optimize customer co-marketing enrollment campaigns to build awareness, support consideration and increase applications and enrollments
- Develop and manage email automation programs to increase awareness and nurture prospective patients who are eligible for Virta through employer or health plan benefit programs.
- Manage audience segmentations, campaign flows and triggered flows to drive application and enrollment business KPIs.
- Maximize engagement metrics through multivariate tests (subject line, CTA, send time, etc.) and learning agendas
- Monitor, analyze and present performance metrics and insights
- Collaborate with marketing team members to support operations at scale
- Manage list hygiene and enforce database management best practice
- Improve email rendering issues, mobile responsiveness and overall channel process
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve and develop email template design—we use a SaaS email builder product, but you will still need a solid understanding of HTML as well as UX/UI best practices
- Update playbooks to sustain performance over time and educate cross-functional stakeholders including customer marketers and customer success teams
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Become proficient in our ESP (Marketo) and other relevant martech systems
- Develop a deep understanding of the patient journey, Virta’s lines of business and our automation strategy
- Co-develop the next generation of Virta’s email templates, including personalized, user-specific email elements
- Support the expansion of Virta’s automation programs—behavioral triggers, post-event email nurture campaigns, lead gen capabilities, etc.
- Run A/B tests to better understand our prospective patients interests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or quantitative field
- At least 5 years professional experience with 3+ years of hands-on email experience– managing automation campaigns end-to-end for high-growth DTC brands (experience in highly-regulated industries is preferred, but not required)
- Exceptional planning skills: can build audience segments, customize templates and campaign flows to suit the various lifecycle stages of the audience, execute and measure impact
- Advanced analytical skills: proven track record analyzing datasets and translating insights into opportunities for new segment definitions, flow enhancements, multi-variate testing and optimization
- Highly-experienced operator across CRM platforms, automation platforms and business application systems. Examples include: Salesforce, Marketo and Amplitude
- Strong communicator and writer with a consumer-first mindset
- Results-oriented creative problem solver with strong desire to test and learn
- Team player who is comfortable collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
